Traumalandschaften

About

A free talk in the Rangfoyer of the Deutsches Theater, a major Berlin theatre, in its DT Kontext discussion series, linked to the stage production of Dorothee Elmiger's novel 'Die Holländerinnen'. Writer Terézia Mora, whose books such as 'Alle Tage' deal with trauma and displacement, and Charité psychiatrist Malek Bajbouj, who treats trauma with narrative exposure therapy, discuss how experiences that resist being told can still be narrated, how trauma is passed on across generations, and what literature can do; moderated by André Mumot.
