About

Friedrich Dürrenmatt's classic black comedy about a physicist who feigns madness and hides in a sanatorium to keep his world formula from being misused, until a series of murders shows nothing is as it seems. Bastian Kraft's 90-minute production at Berlin's Deutsches Theater (a leading German-language stage) is staged as a fast-paced thriller with a cross-gender cast including Ulrich Matthes and Anja Schneider, and is recommended from grade 10.
