About
A one-man chamber production at the Deutsches Theater, one of Berlin's leading theatres, based on Nikolai Gogol's classic story about Poprischtschin, a lowly, unhappy civil servant who is hopelessly in love with his boss's daughter and slips into delusions of grandeur. Directed by Hanna Rudolph and performed by Samuel Finzi in the intimate Kammer space (premiered 2008, about 75 minutes, no intermission).
