A 90-minute reading with piano in the Kammer, the small stage of Berlin's Deutsches Theater: actress Corinna Harfouch reads excerpts from 'Das weiße Leintuch' (The White Sheet), a novel by the Lithuanian exile writer Antanas Škėma (1910–1961), while pianist Hideyo Harada plays works by Bach, Chopin, Debussy, Čiurlionis and others. The novel, banned in Soviet Lithuania and rediscovered only in the late 1980s, is described as one of the most beautiful and painful love stories.
