About
Mozart's much-loved German-language opera (1791) about Prince Tamino and the bird-catcher Papageno, who set out to rescue Pamina and are tested in trials of initiation, with the famous Queen of the Night arias. This is Günter Krämer's staging at the Deutsche Oper Berlin, conducted by Tomáš Netopil, in the house's main auditorium (Großes Haus).
