About
Georges Bizet's 1875 opera about the free-spirited Carmen, a Spanish factory worker whose love affair with the soldier Don José ends in jealousy and tragedy when she turns to the bullfighter Escamillo. This is a staging by Ole Anders Tandberg, conducted by Alejo Pérez, at Berlin's largest opera house; sung in French.
