About
Concert by the Berlin band Wedding Klezmer, who have played Eastern European and Balkan music for 25 years, in a public library in Tegel. The program pairs Klezmer, the music of Eastern European Jews, with Greek Rembetiko, a song tradition from the 1920s and 30s about love, poverty and pain; the quartet plays accordion, trumpet, bouzouki, guitar, clarinet and double bass.
