About
A staged reading of Rainer Maria Rilke's famous 1906 prose poem about an 18-year-old cornet (standard-bearer) who rides into the 1663 Turkish War, experiences his first love and dies in battle. Actors Walter Prettenhofer and Noah Stehle frame it with texts by Franz Fühmann, Carl von Clausewitz and figures from politics and business, at the Humboldt-Bibliothek, a public library in Berlin's Tegel district.
