About
Actress Sophie Rois reads excerpts from "Meine ersten neunzig Jahre," the memoirs of Tilla Durieux (1880–1971), a leading German stage star who worked with Max Reinhardt and Erwin Piscator and was married to the art dealer Paul Cassirer. The reading accompanies the exhibition "Lovis Corinth. Dann kam Berlin!" at the Berlinische Galerie, Berlin's museum of modern art, which shows Corinth's portraits of Durieux and his theatre designs.
