About
A guided walking tour of Berlin's Karl-Marx-Allee, the grand East German boulevard modelled on Moscow's avenues, with its 'wedding-cake style' apartment blocks built in the 1950s. The route starts at the twin towers at Frankfurter Tor and ends at Kino International, passing buildings by architects such as Hermann Henselmann and Ludmilla Herzenstein; it accompanies the Berlinische Galerie exhibition on architect Josef Kaiser and is run by Ticket B.
