About
A 90-minute public guided tour at Berlin's Botanical Garden on how tropical plants such as curare, rubber and stevia, and the Indigenous knowledge about their use, reached European botanical gardens through colonialism, and how Indigenous communities still rarely benefit from sharing that knowledge. Led by Rita Trautmann with the Chile-Lateinamerika research and documentation centre; limited to 20 adults, registration required, and garden admission is extra.
