Dracula in Istanbul (1953) by Mehmet Muhtar is the oldest surviving Turkish horror film, a local adaptation of Bram Stoker's novel in which Count Dracula comes to Istanbul and threatens a lawyer's fiancée; it is shown in a restored print in Turkish with English subtitles (102 min) at Sinema Transtopia, an independent cinema in Berlin.
