About
A concert of string quartets from around 1800 by three lesser-known composers: Anton Ferdinand Titz (Vienna), Franz Gebel (Lemberg/Lviv) and Joseph Elsner (St. Petersburg-era contemporary), tracing the quartet tradition across Central and Eastern Europe. The supplied page is the Mendelssohn-Gesellschaft program, which lists events only through March 2026 and does not mention this October 22 concert, so no details beyond the title are confirmed.
