About
A 2026 Ukrainian-French documentary by Oleksandr Tkachenko (88 min, Ukrainian with English subtitles) following Dmytro Dokunov, a cinematographer and digital artist who joins a combat unit and films his own transformation into a soldier with his mobile camera while trying to keep hold of his humanity. Shown at ACUDkino, a Berlin arthouse cinema, as part of the Ukrainian Film Festival Berlin 2026 in cooperation with ARTE, with a Q&A afterwards; content warning for depictions of war.
