About
An absurd, gently funny play by Noëlle Haeseling about two women anglers hoping to catch a prehistoric fish, whose peace is disturbed by a lonely boathouse renter who calls the fishing inspectors on them; it explores gender roles, waiting, failure and female solidarity. It is staged at the Renaissance-Theater, a long-established private theatre in Berlin-Charlottenburg, with Imogen Kogge, Valerie Neuenfels and Guntbert Warns among the cast, running about 120 minutes with an interval.
