A three-hour evening seminar from BiwAK e.V., a Berlin education association for local politics, introducing district-level transport policy: what Berlin's boroughs can decide on their own versus the state or federal level, and how members of borough councils can use motions, inquiries and building majorities to push changes like crossings or traffic-calmed neighbourhoods (Kiezblocks). It is aimed at current and prospective borough councillors and citizen deputies, and features a Green parliamentary group transport adviser and a ten-year member of the Friedrichshain-Kreuzberg transport committee.
