About
A solo exhibition by Berlin-based artist Thomas Demand, known for photographing detailed paper-and-cardboard models he builds himself. For the MAK, Vienna's museum of applied arts, he turned historic theatre and opera stage models from the Theatermuseum Vienna and the Nouveau Musée National de Monaco into photographs, shown with large wall installations and lights; it runs 27 May 2026 to 24 January 2027 at MAK Contemporary.
