Tag der Restaurierung

About

The 9th European Day of Restoration, with the 2026 motto "Ganz nah dran" ("Up close"), when conservators at many Berlin museums open their workshops and lead tours showing how they examine, repair and preserve artworks and cultural objects. Highlights include a talk on the restoration of Filippo Lippi's 1459 painting "Adoration in the Woods" and tours of ceramics, paper and metal restoration workshops, plus the plucked instruments at the Musical Instruments Museum.
