A special edition of the research colloquium of Berlin's State Institute for Music Research, marking the 500,000th entry in the Bibliographie des Musikschrifttums (BMS), the world's largest open-access music bibliography, online since 2006. Three talks by Martin Elste, Thomas Ertelt and Gesine Schröder on the history and use of the BMS and subject bibliographies are followed by a discussion; free and open to the public, no registration needed.
