Sediment – Qusay Awad

Sediment is a solo exhibition by Berlin-based Syrian architect and artist Qusay Awad (opening 15 Oct 2026, 18:00; runs until 14 March 2027) that traces the layers of history of the Bärenzwinger, a former bear enclosure built in 1939 from a street-cleaning depot and now a municipal contemporary art gallery. It combines site-specific structures, sound, 3D reconstructions and archive material to treat architecture as a living archive.
