About
A large retrospective of Ryuichi Sakamoto (1952–2023), the Japanese composer and Oscar-winning film-score writer, shown at Berlin's Hamburger Bahnhof contemporary art museum. It presents seven works in five big sound-and-image installations, made with artists such as Shiro Takatani, Carsten Nicolai and Apichatpong Weerasethakul, including a tsunami-damaged piano played with earthquake data. The exhibition runs 11 Sep 2026 to 20 Jun 2027.
