About
A new staging of Shakespeare's tragedy about Richard III, the scheming king who murders his way to the throne, at the inclusive RambaZamba Theater, whose ensemble includes actors with and without learning disabilities. Director Julia Wissert and author Antigone Akgün rewrite the text so that Richard's power grab grows out of exclusion and ableism rather than villainy; about 90 minutes, with strobe lighting.
