About
Free exhibition and discussion project at the Neuer Berliner Kunstverein (n.b.k.) on Chausseestraße, running 10 Sept to 8 Nov 2026 (opening 9 Sept, 18:00), with works by artists such as Hito Steyerl, Helmar Lerski and Maya Schweizer. It examines how the 'East' serves as a cultural and political projection screen and how the East/West divide shapes the present, from GDR memory politics to post-socialist change and current geopolitics; a companion show runs at the Schinkel Pavillon, curated by Fabian Bechtle and Leon Kahane.
