About
Special exhibition at Berlin's Gemäldegalerie (Old Masters picture gallery at the Kulturforum) pairing about 90 portraits from the 15th to 20th centuries, from Botticelli, Dürer and Rembrandt to Tamara de Lempicka, in unexpected side-by-side comparisons on identity, status and self-presentation. It runs 16 Oct 2026 to 14 Mar 2027 and includes loans from other Staatliche Museen zu Berlin collections.
