Screening of Masahiro Shinoda's 1964 Japanese noir 'Pale Flower' (Kawaita Hana), in which a yakuza just out of prison meets a reckless female gambler in illegal card games; shown in the original Japanese with German subtitles, with an introduction, in a restored print as part of the 'Zeitlos' series. The venue, Kino Arsenal at Silent Green Kulturquartier, is an arthouse cinema in a former crematorium complex in Berlin's Wedding district.
