About
Jacques Offenbach's 1858 comic operetta, a witty send-up of the Orpheus myth in which Eurydice happily goes off to the underworld, staged by Barrie Kosky at the Komische Oper Berlin with actor Max Hopp as narrator and including the famous cancan. Sung in German and French, about 2 hours 45 minutes with an interval.
