Originalklang. Bachs »Brandenburgische Konzerte«

About

The Bach Collegium Japan, a renowned period-instrument ensemble from Tokyo, performs all six of Bach's Brandenburg Concertos in one evening under conductor Masato Suzuki, opening the Berliner Philharmoniker's Originalklang (historically informed performance) series. The concertos from the 1710s–1720s are celebrated for their varied instrumentation and virtuoso solos; the concert runs about 2.5 hours with a 20-minute interval, and an introduction takes place at 19:15.
