About
A volunteer raking session in Berlin-Kreuzberg where neighbours collect fallen leaves under 17 chestnut trees to reduce the leaf miner moth (Miniermotte), whose larvae overwinter in the leaves and weaken the trees. The BUND project ANAAB has run it for two years, and the trees look noticeably better; rakes and leaf bags from the city cleaning service BSR are provided, and you can simply show up.
