About

Exhibition at the Akademie der Künste (Berlin's academy of the arts) looking at the uncertain time between destruction and rebuilding, and how societies deal with loss, guilt and memory. It traces the colonial and Nazi history of the Hansaviertel district and shows works from Afghanistan, Ukraine, Yemen, Syria, the USA and other countries, with the exhibition architecture tracing the site's former building plan at 1:1; this day also has a 15:00 guided tour.
