About
Screening at the Cosima Filmtheater, a neighborhood cinema near Bundesplatz in Berlin, of Peter Timm's 1985/86 West German comedy "Meier", about an East Berlin wallpaper-crew leader who is forced to return to the West by midnight after a trip, satirizing life on both sides of the divided city. Timm won the Ernst-Lubitsch-Preis and the Bayerischer Filmpreis for it; he will give an introduction and hold an audience talk after the film.
