Marx & Engels intim

About

A staged reading with songs in which five performers read from the uncensored private letters and texts of Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels, covering what the two thinkers privately said about Poles, Russians, women, workers, Islam, parties and their own fathers. It takes place on the MS Goldberg, a Jewish cultural ship moored in Berlin-Spandau, and is based on a manuscript by Björn and Simon Aktstinat with new arrangements of old songs.
