About
Reading by Berlin author Lea Streisand from her short, witty cultural history of the Berlin dialect, explaining how Berliners got their big mouths and why the famous brusque tone is more of a performance than rudeness. Streisand also writes the radioeins audio column "war schön jewesen"; this is a rescheduled date for 1 October, held in the event room on the 3rd floor of the Wolfdietrich-Schnurre library in Pankow, free but registration required as seats are limited.
