About
Lady is a 2026 Nigerian-British drama by director Olive Nwosu (93 min, in English and Pidgin English with English subtitles), screened at Sinema Transtopia, an independent cinema in Berlin, as part of its SİNELECTION series. It follows one of the few female taxi drivers in Lagos, who saves for a new life elsewhere but is drawn into a night-time world of sex workers when her childhood friend Pinky returns, and is confronted with memories she tried to leave behind.
