About
A reading and discussion marking 100 years since the Akademie der Künste founded its poetry section in 1926: five present-day literature members (Friedrich Dieckmann, Kerstin Hensel, Michael Krüger, Katja Lange-Müller, Gustav Seibt) read texts by early members from 1926 to 1933, including Thomas Mann, Alfred Döblin and Ricarda Huch, and discuss the contradictory political stances of that group shortly before the Weimar Republic collapsed. In German.
