Klimagärtnerworkshop Pflanzenkohle

About

Hands-on workshop in which participants make plant charcoal (biochar) in a pyrolysis kiln and learn how it is used in Terra Preta, the dark, fertile soil substrate originally known from the Amazon basin, and how it benefits soil and climate. It is run by the Deutsche Schreberjugend, the youth organisation of the German allotment-garden movement, with speaker Tomas Kilosek; registration is requested and a participation certificate is available.
