About

Exhibition at a Berlin contemporary art gallery for Berlin Art Week, centred on Life–Death (1969), an early experimental 16mm film by German artist Katharina Sieverding, shown with large film stills and previously unpublished Polaroids. The film, a series of gender-bending portraits made while she studied under Joseph Beuys, got a soundtrack in 1972 by the musicians who soon became Kraftwerk; it was shown at documenta 5. Open Tue–Sat 12:00–18:00, until 7 November 2026.
