About
A Sunday-afternoon concert by the Berlin jazz series Jazzkeller 69, marking the 75th birthday of Australian violinist and improviser Jon Rose, a former Berlin resident known for experimental work. He plays with Conny Bauer (trombone), Frank Gratkowski (reeds), Meinrad Kneer (bass) and Steve Heather (drums) in what he calls "rogue counterpoint": parallel melodic lines that may or may not follow harmonic rules.
