About
"Heroes" is a combined reading and concert in which the actor and singer Alexander Scheer and his band perform David Bowie's songs and read from the books that inspired him, while the artist Reinhard Kleist draws live on stage. It is a tribute to Bowie's years in Berlin (1976–78) and is staged at the Berliner Ensemble, a historic theatre in central Berlin once led by Bertolt Brecht; strobe effects are used.
