About

Film Restored is the Deutsche Kinemathek's film heritage festival in Berlin (21–25 October 2026), themed "Risky Business" around risks in cinema, from taboo-breaking and exile to daring aesthetics and the dangers of archiving. It offers digitally restored films from 1927 to 2010 from twenty countries, such as Fargo and Cyankali, plus talks, workshops, live music and the Kinopreis award for independent cinemas.
