About
FERNKONtakT is a recurring talk-and-music evening at Theater Aufbau Kreuzberg (tak) in which artists abroad join digitally to discuss the future. This edition hosts Amer Khalil, artistic director of the El Hakawati Theatre in Jerusalem, and young theatre makers from Jerusalem and the other Palestinian territories, including Gaza. They discuss the legacy of the theatre's founder Francois Abu Salem and two current productions. Moderator Lydia Ziemke leads the conversation, and Joss Turnbull (percussion, electronics) and Charlie Khalil Prince (guitar) play live. The bar is open.
