An interactive 90-minute guided tour in German for children aged 8 to 12 and their families, held at the memorial site in the former emergency reception camp in Berlin-Marienfelde, where people who fled East Germany were registered after arriving in West Berlin. Through hands-on elements and questions, it tells from a child's perspective why families fled, what life in the camp was like and what they hoped for.
