Free guided tours at the former Tempelhof Airport in Berlin for the European Day of Restoration (motto "Ganz nah dran!"), including a look at the freshly restored facade lettering "163 Feet Elevation Field" before it is remounted, with a chance to talk to the restorers Dr. Sarah Gschlecht and Leonard John. The 62 aluminium plates of the lettering were taken down earlier this year for conservation; tours run 10:30–13:30 and 16:00–18:00 from the visitor centre.
