Lecture in the series "Kunstgeschichte(n) des Tiergartenviertels" by literary scholar Dr. Gesine Bey on the house at Matthäikirchstraße 1 in Berlin's Tiergartenviertel, built in 1843 for the Jewish silk manufacturer Joel Wolff Meyer and the birthplace of the painter Martha Musil, later wife of the Austrian writer Robert Musil, who used it as the setting of his play "Die Schwärmer".
