A reading and book presentation by Berlin author Bianca Schaalburg from her autobiographical graphic novel "Der Duft der Kiefern", in which she investigates what her grandfather, stationed with the Wehrmacht in Riga, knew about Nazi crimes and whether her family profited from the expulsion of Jewish Germans. She also tells of meeting the grandson of Alice Licht and of the link to Otto Weidt, who ran a workshop for blind and deaf Jewish workers and helped hide the Licht family.
