Craftkai Japanese Festival

About

A one-day festival of Japanese crafts and culture in a Berlin market hall near Potsdamer Platz, with hands-on workshops (kintsugi, plant dyeing, ikebana, gold leaf, chopstick carving with Shintaro Oku from Kagoshima), a free craft market, a talk on Japanese folding screens, a hand-plane challenge, and dance and live music in the evening. Workshops cost from 30 € and must be booked through CraftKai, the curated platform behind the event; entry to the festival is free.
