A 90-minute word-and-music evening in the Deutsches Theater's Kammer stage, in which the actress Corinna Harfouch reads excerpts from Das weiße Leintuch, the novel by exiled Lithuanian writer Antanas Škėma, while pianist Hideyo Harada plays works by Bach, Chopin, Debussy, Bartók and others on the grand piano. The novel is a 20th-century Lithuanian classic about exile and a painful love story.
