About
Opening of an exhibition of wood panel paintings by Spandau artist Helmut Frelke (born 1951 in Kazakhstan), who uses layers of stain to bring out the grain of precious woods, revealing mythical figures and biblical scenes, many with Christian motifs. The opening in the Galerie Kulturhaus includes music and speeches by Dr. Carola Brückner (district councillor for culture) and gallery director Maria Weber; the exhibition then runs from 16 October 2026 to 16 January 2027.
