Ausstellungseröffnung | EVA FRANKFURTHER – Das Leben malen

About

Opening night of a show at Kunsthaus Dahlem, an art space in Berlin's Dahlem district, devoted to Eva Frankfurther (1930–1959), a Berlin-born Jewish painter who fled to London in 1939. Over 40 paintings and drawings show immigrant and working-class communities in London's East End; the evening includes welcome speeches and an introduction by the gallery's artistic director, the director of Exilmuseum Berlin and the curator, held in the café.
