About
A concert by the Apollo-Chor an der Staatsoper, the amateur choir linked to Berlin's state opera, celebrating its 80th anniversary with Handel's ode 'Alexander's Feast or The Power of Music' (HWV 75), a 1736 work about music's power to stir emotions. Conducted by Artur Just with four soloists and members of the Staatskapelle Berlin, it takes place at the Trinitatiskirche in Berlin-Charlottenburg rather than at the opera house itself.
